Requirements
- Certificate of Business Name Registration from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
- Barangay/Municipality/Regional clearance, depending on the scale and scope of intended operations.
- Business permit from the local mayor's office. This is where you'll get the plaque to display in your store.
- Business tax identification number (TIN). Better ask a book keeper or accounting services to to this.
Procedure:
- Obtain a business name registration certificate by registering your business to DTI. You can search here http://www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph/web/guest/registration to verify that your desire business name is still available.
- Obtain a Brgy/Municipal/Regional clearance from local government are where you will setup your operation. Normally it starts on Barangay level, so visit your nearest Brgy hall.

- Proof of address of business location (eg. Meralco)
- Go to the mayor's office in order to secure a business permit in the municipal level.

- Map/sketch of location where your business will be located

- Community tax certificate (CTC)
- Go to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) district office where your business will be located.

- Proof of your business address (e.g. Meralco)
- Book of accounts, to be stamped by BIR (can be purchased in National Bookstore)
- Receipts and invoices from BIR accredited print shops, to be stamped by BIR (find a book keeping service near you for help).
- Obtain a TIN.
- Fill out an application form for a Certificate of Authority to print receipts and invoices.
- Have your Book of Accounts, receipts and invoices stamped by BIR.
- Apply as self-employed member of the Social Security System (SSS).
